How it works

One code. Every phone. One film.

Hosts share a code. Guests film on their own phones, with nothing to install. We turn everything into one finished film you can keep.

Hosting an event

  1. STEP 1

Create your event and share one code

Pick what you are celebrating, name the event and choose the date. You get a join code, a QR code and printable table cards.

    • Put a card on every table and mention it once when people sit down.
    • Paste the invitation message into your group chat before the event.
    • Guests must be 18 or older to film. Children can still appear in the film.
  2. STEP 2

Guests film, you watch it arrive

Every clip and photo appears on your Footage tab as guests upload. Name up to a few filming captains and give them a mission, like "film the toasts."

    • Tap Make my teaser for a short first look from what has arrived so far.
    • Remove any clip you do not want in your film.
  3. STEP 3

    Make it yours

On the Film style tab choose how the music feels (calm, romantic, upbeat, dramatic or party), the tempo, an instrument or two, and up to three things that matter most at your event. Add a line for the title card.

We lean the film toward the moments you pick. We never pick people out by their faces.

  4. STEP 4

    Send it to the studio

When the event is over, tap Submit to studio. You never have to wait for guests to tap "I'm done": it is just a signal to you. If you forget, we send it automatically 7 days after your event date. After that, uploads lock and your film is built.

  5. STEP 5

    Love it, or change it

Your film shows up in your account. Watch it, then tap Love it or ask for up to two changes: a different length, different music, more of the moments you care about, or leaving a guest out.

    • Save the film and the best photos, or share a private link with family and friends.
    • Download every original clip with one button, sorted by guest.

Get more footage

On the cardPut the QR code where people already look: invitations, the program, ceremony entrance and every table.
Say it out loudAsk your DJ or MC to mention it twice, once early and once after dinner.
Give a mission"Film the dance floor for ten seconds" gets more than "film something."
Name captainsPick a few outgoing friends to cover the toasts, first dance and send-off.
Phone-free ceremony?

Turn on "phone-free ceremony" and guests see a reminder, then invite everyone to film the rest of the day.

Questions

Do guests need an app?No. They film in their phone browser after a quick free sign-up.
What if some guests do not film? The film is built from what guests upload. A mix of toasts, dancing and candid moments from many guests works best.
How long until I get my film? You can ask for a short teaser while the event is still going. After you submit, we build the full film. Timing details are shared at launch.
When can guests add clips? From the moment you create the event until 7 days after your event date (or until you tap Submit, whichever is first). If you create your event after the party, guests get 7 days from the day you create it.
Do I pick a date when I buy?No. A pass has no date and never expires. You pick your event date when you create the event.
How long are my files kept?We aim to keep them for about seven years but cannot promise it, so please download and keep your own copies.
